This Marfione Custom Anax features a black anodized 6061-T6 aluminum frame and hand ground, Elmax steel blade DLC coating with the Marfione Dagger. The aluminum handle Anax weighs in at 1 ounce less than the titanium model. Another key difference in the Al model is the use of a standard lanyard hole instead of the stinger attachment.

The Anax folder continues Microtech's tradition of pushing the envelope. Its blade uses a fuller groove for one-hand opening and rides on a ceramic bearing pivot for super-smooth action that won't fade over time. The integral aluminum handle has fewer parts, which adds greater reliability to the knife and the lock bar has a serviceable hardened 17-4 steel tip.
